About
Hadih! I'm Denise Halfyard. I am a proud Wet'suwet'en, Tsimshian, Gitxsan Voice Actor from the Laksilyu clan, which means Small Frog in Wet'suwet'en and a member of the Kitsumkalum First Nation.

I'm a professional voice actor specializing in commercial, E-Learning, corporate scrips and audiobooks. My voice has been described as soothing with a friendly, informative style that is perfectly suited to long form projects. I've voiced many corporate E-Learning modules for Indigenous and non-Indigenous North American and European clients. As well, I've voiced a number of audiobooks, both fiction and non fiction.

I am a co-owner of Halfyard Productions (Ukee Sound/Halfyard Studios) where I record all my VO's. I am also the Manager for the Tears to Hope Society, a non-profit organization that raises awareness and supports the families of our Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) and actively works towards preventing further cases by investing in our youth. I am also the founder and CEO of The Frog Radio, a 24 hour online station dedicated to Indigenous music of all genres from across Turtle Island.
When I'm not working, I'm walking my dog Sugar with my husband, kayaking on the beautiful West Coast of Vancouver Island or taking in a live music performance.

I'd love to do a free sample for you. Have a listen to my demos then email me direct and we can discuss your project. I have flexible rates and fast turnaround from our broadcast quality studio.
